Start to Finish: 7 Section Bay

Here is a start to finish construction of a 7 section bay. It demonstrates the safety measures we go to in deconstruction and installation of your windows, but also this helps show the security that we construct your windows with such as reinforced window sashes/frames, a bay poles in between frames (used in bays) to act as a structure supporting the above of your house.

Starting with the deconstruction of the existing bay, our team carefully deconstructs the bay, making sure to not damage any features, such as internal walls and external brickwork and tiling. Also keeping the structural parts of the window in until Acro Props are set up.

The next step is the assure safety to both ourselves and your house. We do this by elevating the top of the bay with Acro supports which keep the above part of the house from falling in. They remain there until the windows and fitted with added supports of their own.

Between each window frame we use a state of the art bay pole system which runs from beneath the window sill to the top of the opening running along side the frame. The bay poles are hoisted up by a jacking kit in which keep the windows and the structure above them supported.

Not only that but this systems allows the frames to interlock, once together and screwed in places this provides a very security conscious finish to your bay.

After the windows are installed and secure, we then insulate the surrounding areas around them with expanding foam, this helps keep in the warmth of your home along with the economic design of our energy rated UPVC windows.

Finished Design

The finished product trimmed and made weatherproof with waterproof sealants.

With use of unique patterned corner cover strips and layered trimmed facia, once sealed together to the external wall these touches all contribute to a neat elegant final finish.
